Elevate your summer cocktail game with these refreshing Cape Codder Slushies! This frozen twist on the classic vodka-cranberry cocktail is the perfect way to cool down on a hot day. The vibrant pink color and sweet-tart flavor make it an instant crowd-pleaser at any gathering.
The Magic of Homemade Cranberry Juice
What sets these slushies apart is the use of freshly made cranberry juice. By simmering frozen cranberries with water, sugar, lemon juice, and orange juice, you create a juice that’s far more flavorful than any store-bought option. The natural tartness of the cranberries is balanced perfectly with just the right amount of sweetness and citrus brightness. Straining the cooked cranberries removes the solids while keeping all that delicious flavor.
Perfect for Entertaining
These frozen cocktails are ideal for summer parties and outdoor entertaining. Make a big batch the night before by freezing the mixture overnight, then simply scoop and serve when guests arrive. The slushie texture makes them easy to sip while mingling, and a fresh lime garnish adds both visual appeal and a complementary citrus note. With 8 servings in one batch, you can easily prepare ahead and enjoy stress-free entertaining!
