Easy Cedar Plank Salmon Sliders

How to Make the Best Easy Cedar Plank Salmon Sliders

These Cedar Plank Salmon Sliders are an elegant yet surprisingly easy appetizer or light meal that brings gourmet flavors to your table in just 35 minutes. The pre-seasoned cedar plank salmon does most of the work for you, requiring minimal prep while delivering restaurant-quality results. Paired with toasted mini bagels and fresh, crisp vegetables, each slider is a perfect bite of perfectly cooked, tender salmon.

What makes these sliders truly special is the combination of flavors and textures. The smoky, ginger-infused salmon provides the protein base, while the spicy sriracha aioli adds a kick of heat and creaminess. The tangy pickled cabbage brings a bright, acidic element that cuts through the richness of the salmon and mayo, while the fresh cucumber and carrot ribbons add crunch and a fresh, garden-like quality.

Whether you’re serving these at a party, preparing a gourmet lunch, or looking to impress dinner guests with minimal effort, these salmon sliders deliver big on flavor without requiring hours in the kitchen. They’re the kind of dish that makes you look like a culinary genius while you’re actually just assembling high-quality ingredients.

Ingredients

For the Sliders

Sriracha Aioli

Instructions

Cook the Salmon

  1. Preheat oven or grill to 425°F.
  2. Remove the cedar plank salmon from packaging and place directly on the middle rack.
  3. If using conventional oven, place a parchment or aluminum foil lined baking sheet on the rack below to catch any liquid that might drip off the plank.
  4. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, until cooked through but still moist and tender.

Prepare the Components

  1. While the salmon is cooking, toast the mini bagels.
  2. Remove cooked salmon from oven or grill and place on a heat proof surface. Cut into 8 to 10 pieces.
  3. Using a vegetable peeler, remove the skin of the carrot and both ends, then slice into ribbons. Repeat with the cucumber. Store in cold water until ready to use.

Assemble

  1. Spread 2 tablespoons of sriracha aioli on the bottom bun of the bagel.
  2. Top with pickled cabbage and one piece of salmon.
  3. Layer a ribbon of carrot and a ribbon of cucumber on top of the salmon.
  4. Top with the top bun and serve immediately.
