How to Make the Best Easy Chocolate Halloween Pretzels
These easy chocolate halloween pretzels are the perfect seasonal treat that requires minimal effort but delivers maximum flavor and fun. With just three simple ingredients—chocolate, pretzel rods, and sprinkles—you can create festive, kid-friendly snacks that look impressive and taste delicious.
The beauty of this recipe is its simplicity and flexibility. You can use white chocolate chips, milk chocolate, or even colored candy melts to match your Halloween theme. The key is taking your time with the chocolate melting process to ensure a smooth, even coating on each pretzel. Whether you opt for the stovetop double-boiler method or the quick microwave approach, you’ll have perfectly melted chocolate ready for decorating.
Once your pretzels are coated and decorated with halloween sprinkles, let them cool and harden for at least 15 minutes before enjoying. They store beautifully in an airtight container for up to a week, making them ideal for Halloween parties, trick-or-treat handouts, or simply enjoying at home with family.

Instructions
- Melt the chocolate. You can do this either on the stove top or in the microwave. To melt on the stove top, place the chocolate in a heat proof bowl. Set the bowl over a sauce pan filled with 1 to 1½" of water. Bring the water to a simmer and stir the chocolate constantly until melted. The water shouldn't boil or touch the bottom of the bowl. To melt in the microwave, place the chocolate in a heat proof bowl. Microwave on high for 10 seconds, stir, and repeat the process until the chocolate is melted.
- Working one at a time, coat each pretzel with chocolate and then decorate with halloween sprinkles.
- Place the chocolate coated pretzels on a piece of parchment or wax paper. Let cool for at least 15 minutes for the chocolate to set before eating or storing. Store in an air tight container for up to 1 week.
