How to Make the Best Easy Drinking Beginner Kale Smoothie

Looking to add more greens to your day? This Easy Drinking Beginner Kale Smoothie is the perfect place to start! With minimal ingredients and natural sweetness, these beginner-friendly kale smoothies are ideal for anyone new to green smoothies or looking for a quick, nutritious breakfast option.

The key to success with this recipe is the order in which you add your ingredients—letting the kale hit the blender blades first before adding your frozen strawberries last. If you have a single-serve blender attachment, this recipe is perfect for it, as it does an excellent job of mincing the kale finely into the smoothie.

Blend on high for a full 45 seconds until the smoothie reaches a vibrant green color with no chunky pieces of kale visible. You’ll have a refreshing, naturally sweet smoothie that’s packed with nutrients and ready to enjoy in just minutes!

Instructions

  1. In your favorite blender, add frozen strawberries, banana, almond milk and kale. The order in which you add the ingredients should have the kale hit the blades first and the frozen strawberries last. I prefer to use the smaller, single serve blender attachments as they mince the kale super fine.
  2. Blend on high for a full 45 seconds. The kale should be blended so finely the smoothie is a resilient green color and there are no chunky pieces.

Notes

  • This is a great beginner-friendly green smoothie with minimal ingredients.
  • Use a single serve blender for best results when mincing the kale.
