How to Make the Best Maple Bourbon Cranberry Sauce
This maple bourbon cranberry sauce takes the traditional holiday side dish and elevates it with the warmth of bourbon and the natural sweetness of maple syrup. Fresh cranberries are simmered low and slow, creating a rich, complex flavor profile that pairs beautifully with turkey, ham, or duck. The combination of tart berries with sweet maple and smooth bourbon creates a sophisticated sauce that will have your guests asking for the recipe.
What makes this sauce special is its simplicity and make-ahead convenience. Unlike store-bought versions, you control the sweetness and can adjust the bourbon to your taste. The sauce thickens naturally as it cools, making it the perfect consistency for both warm and cold serving.
