Raspberry-Peach Margarita

How to Make the Best Raspberry-Peach Margarita

This raspberry-peach margarita is the perfect balance of tart and sweet, combining fresh fruit puree with classic margarita ingredients for a refreshingly fruity cocktail. The combination of raspberries and peaches creates a beautiful color and complex flavor that goes far beyond a standard margarita.

What makes this drink special is the use of fresh fruit puree rather than flavored syrups or liqueurs. By blending fresh raspberries and peaches directly into your cocktail, you get authentic fruit flavor with a natural sweetness that pairs beautifully with tequila and lime. The Raspberry Peach Grand Marnier adds a sophisticated floral note, though regular Grand Marnier works just fine if you can’t find the specialty variety.

The salted rim elevates this drink to cocktail bar quality, while the fresh fruit garnish makes it as beautiful to look at as it is delicious to drink. Whether you’re hosting a summer party or looking for a special weekend treat, this raspberry-peach margarita is sure to impress.

Instructions

Prepare the Rim

  1. On a small plate, mix together sea salt and sugar.
  2. Run the lime slice around the rim of your glass and dip it into the salt-sugar mixture. Set aside.

Make the Puree

  1. In a blender, process peaches and raspberries until smooth.
  2. If you want to remove the raspberry seeds, push the puree through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl. You can skip this step if you don't mind seeds.

Shake and Serve

  1. Add puree, tequila, Grand Marnier Raspberry Peach, lime juice, simple syrup and a handful of ice to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Put on the lid and shake vigorously for about 15-30 seconds.
  3. Replace the cocktail shaker top with a Hawthorne strainer and strain into prepared glass.
  4. If desired, garnish with a lime wheel, peach slice and fresh raspberries. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Use Raspberry Peach Grand Marnier for the best flavor, but standard Grand Marnier works as a substitute.
  • Fresh lime juice makes a significant difference in the flavor of this margarita.
  • For a smoother texture, you can strain the fruit puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove raspberry seeds.
